(well, but kind of in reverse order..XD)

everytime I see the name Faust though I think Shaman king TwT; ...

he looks yummy xB

My first impression, seeing this on the Deviantart homepage, was that it was just some rough sketch of a char portrait. But I really love hats like that so I took a second look. And I was wrong.

Sure the lines and the colouring look quick and reckless, but as a whole, that adds to the charm, and the proportions are perfect. The marks around his eyes are intriguing. I'd like to know a bit about that, and his facial expression is so beautifully devious in a kinda... serene way, if that makes any sense.

I applaud you. Bravo! Encore!

Actually, I'm not a illustrator but a manga author, that's why I cannot submit neat pics recently.
His motif is Faust by Goethe and so main design conception is "key" (Faust is a doctor and always looks for answers to every questions) His face marks also show the key figure.
